Whether you are meeting in person in Toronto or connecting online, depression counselling sessions are collaborative and paced to what feels right for you. There is no pressure to perform wellness or pretend things are fine when they’re not.
How sessions build over time:
Depression can look different for everyone. It might feel like heaviness, disconnection, or simply going through the motions without really being present.
You might be noticing:
Depression rarely has one single cause, so the work is never one-size-fits-all. Together we look at what’s contributing to how you feel, whether that’s patterns from the past, current life stressors, or a mix of both, and build an approach around what actually helps you.
Depression and anxiety often show up together, and if that overlap sounds familiar, our anxiety counselling page walks through how we can address both.
What this can include:
It’s a space to understand what’s underneath the low mood, fatigue, or disconnection you’re experiencing, so you can start feeling more like yourself again.
A rough patch usually lifts. Depression tends to linger, affecting your energy, motivation, and outlook over weeks or months. Counselling can help you understand which one you’re dealing with, and what to do about it.
Not unless it’s useful. We go as deep as is helpful for you, focusing on what’s actually affecting how you feel day to day.
Parts Work looks at the different sides of you, like the part that keeps pushing through and the part that wants to give up, with curiosity instead of judgment, so they can work together instead of against each other.
I don’t prescribe medication, but I can work alongside your doctor or psychiatrist if medication is part of your care, and support you either way.
Both. In-person sessions are held in Toronto. Online sessions are available across Ontario and worldwide.
This depends on your goals and history. Some people come for a few months of focused support, others stay longer for deeper work. We will check in regularly on what’s working.
Rates vary by counsellor and session length. Book a consultation and we’ll walk you through pricing and what’s involved before you commit to anything.
I’ve spent more than two decades sitting with people in some of the most tender seasons of their lives. That work has taught me that healing is rarely linear, and that the goal is not to erase your story. The goal is to help you hold it with more clarity, more compassion, and more freedom.
Sessions are offered virtually to clients worldwide, including across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, and India. with limited in-person availability in Toronto.
We are also in the process of organizing in-person gatherings for the Unraveling Circle with Grace. If you’re interested in attending, please contact us to be added to the list for updates and upcoming events.
50 minutes for standard sessions. Extended sessions are available when the work calls for it.
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly. We’ll find a rhythm that supports the work without overwhelming your life.

Starting counselling can feel vulnerable. A strong counselling relationship is built through safety, trust, and a shared understanding of what you need. My goal is to offer a space where you feel supported as you explore what is hurting, what is protecting you, and what healing may look like for you.
