This is the heart of the practice. We meet weekly or every other week, in 50-minute sessions, and work through whatever you bring. Sometimes that’s something specific. Sometimes it’s a quieter sense that something inside is asking for attention. The pace, the focus, and the depth are yours to shape.
Common areas we explore together:
EMDR is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps the mind and body work through experiences that still feel emotionally charged. Memories that used to overwhelm can become memories you carry with more steadiness.
I weave EMDR-informed work into ongoing counselling rather than offering it as a stand-alone service. We build trust and lay the groundwork first, then bring it in when the timing feels right.
This work can be especially supportive for:
For clients who aren’t looking for counselling but want grounded, soul-level guidance, I also offer spiritual life coaching. The conversation is oriented around purpose, calling, discernment, and the inner life.
Coaching is a different container than counselling. We’ll talk during your consultation about which one fits where you are. Unraveling Grace offers counselling and life coaching services, informed by evidence-based frameworks such as EMDR principles, parts work, attachment theory, and CBT. Grace does not provide psychotherapy services.
Coaching often supports:
I’ve spent more than two decades sitting with people in some of the most tender seasons of their lives. That work has taught me that healing is rarely linear, and that the goal is not to erase your story. The goal is to help you hold it with more clarity, more compassion, and more freedom.

Starting counselling can feel vulnerable. A strong counselling relationship is built through safety, trust, and a shared understanding of what you need. My goal is to offer a space where you feel supported as you explore what is hurting, what is protecting you, and what healing may look like for you.
Someone I trust recommended Grace, and I can see why. There is a kindness in the way she listens that makes it easier to be honest with myself. I feel respected and supported, but also gently encouraged to grow. I don’t feel judged — I feel understood.
Grace has a way of working that respects complexity. She doesn’t rush to conclusions or offer simplistic answers. Our conversations are thoughtful, nuanced, and genuinely illuminating. I feel more capable of understanding myself with clarity.
Working with Grace has helped certain memories feel less overwhelming. She is attentive to pacing and makes the process feel manageable. I feel more steady, and less defined by past experiences.
Grace was suggested to me as someone who works with depth and integrity. She balances professionalism with genuine attentiveness. I feel confident in the work we are doing together.
Over time, working with Grace has helped me shift patterns I didn’t realize were shaping my life. I feel more grounded in who I am and more confident in how I move forward.
There is a depth to the work with Grace that goes beyond problem-solving. Our conversations create space for reflection, meaning, and a stronger sense of inner alignment.
Grace notices what matters. She listens carefully and responds with insight and care. I feel understood in a way that helps me be more honest with myself.
