About

"Grace was suggested to me as someone who works with depth and integrity. She balances professionalism with genuine attentiveness. I feel confident in the work we are doing together."

A Note From Grace

Welcome!
I’m glad you’re here.

This is a space for slowing down.
For language that helps the body exhale.
For making sense of patterns that once kept you safe and no longer need to run your life. I’m Grace.
I created this space for people who learned early to adapt, track, and endure — and who are now ready to live with more choice.

For cycle-breakers.
For those doing the quiet work of becoming.
Sensitivity isn’t framed as a flaw here.
It’s a form of perception.
A nervous system that learned quickly, deeply, and at a cost.

This isn’t about fixing yourself.
It’s about understanding what shaped you and integrating it with care.

For now, let this be a place to arrive.
A steady reference point.
A reminder that healing doesn’t happen in isolation.
More will take form when the timing is right!

— Grace

Meet Grace

Grace Raine is a mental health clinical counsellor and integrative holistic life coach with a distinct focus on working with first- and second-generation immigrants, as well as individuals impacted by war, displacement, and complex trauma. Her work is informed by both professional training and lived experience, offering a level of cultural and psychological insight that is both precise and deeply attuned.

Beginning her career in education as a teacher, Grace developed a strong foundation in human development and relational dynamics. Her professional path evolved through years of work across humanitarian, community, and social justice settings, ultimately leading her into counselling practice. This trajectory allows her to approach counselling work with a rare combination of structural awareness, cultural fluency, and professional depth.

Grace specializes in supporting individuals navigating the layered impact of migration, identity formation, intergenerational trauma, and the psychological imprint of war and instability. She understands how displacement shapes the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self—not only for those who lived through it directly, but also for those who carry its echoes across generations.

Her approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities while remaining responsive to the cultural, spiritual, and familial frameworks that shape each client’s experience. She works with complexity—honouring both the visible and unseen dimensions of trauma, resilience, and adaptation.

In addition to her counselling work, Grace is a seasoned speaker and facilitator, known for delivering high-level workshops and programs on cultural competency, trauma, and social systems. She has served as a board member across multiple community and humanitarian organizations over the past two decades, contributing to strategic planning, advocacy, and program development.

Grace’s work is defined by clarity, discretion, and depth. She is particularly well-suited for individuals who require a counsellor capable of navigating nuanced cultural contexts without oversimplification—someone who understands both the personal and systemic dimensions of their experience.

At its core, her work is about restoring coherence where fragmentation has occurred. She offers a space where identity can be explored without reduction, where trauma can be processed without losing dignity, and where individuals can move toward a more integrated and grounded sense of self.

This work begins with the nervous system.

This space is for those who have decided the cycle ends with them.

Background & Credentials

I’ve spent more than two decades sitting with people in some of the most tender seasons of their lives. That work has taught me that healing is rarely linear, and that the goal is not to erase your story. The goal is to help you hold it with more clarity, more compassion, and more freedom.
